About the event:

The Tour de Office cycling challenge is upon us and only four months after her hip replacement, Green Cross Australia's CEO Mara Bun is swapping her cane for bike pants, a road racer and is ready to take on the best in the build environment industry to raise money for the promotion of sustainability and healthy workplaces; promising to be a lean, mean cycling machine!

 

Green Leaf Engineers, an Australian based engineering consultancy that are one of the seven organisations hosting Tour de Office and each organisation is inviting employees, clients and guests to compete against each other to raise the most money for Green Cross Australia and Diabetes Queensland.

 

Mara will be riding in the Green Leaf Engineers offices on the 19th of July and overall, event will involve over 400 participants who combined, will ride for 30 minutes each to complete a 5,000km relay from multiple offices and the whole thing is being streamed live via webcams.

 

We're really excited about participating in the Tour de Office and would love all of our friends and partners to get involved too! There's two really simple things you can do -rise to the challenge, put the pedal to the metal and register to compete against Mara or donate to Mara and Green Cross Australia, here. Our super sporty Lisa and Megan will also be there riding alongside!
